Hi friends!

Today I’m sharing five of my favorite, go-to snacks that fit well into my busy life. As a new mother, I need quick and easy snacks that I can grab and eat with one hand, while holding my daughter. I’m also a grazer by nature and love eating healthy snacks in between meals to stabilize my energy and blood sugar levels. I’m the type of person who gets hungry and angry (hangry) when I start to feel hunger. I’ve been this way my whole life. In order to avoid turning into a hangry monster and scaring my husband off (love ya, Zach!), I stock my pantry full of healthy snacks that are nutritious, whole, and tasty. We have an Amazon Prime membership, so we take full advantage of the free two-day shipping and order snacks and diapers in bulk. We go through these items fast in this house! Who can relate?!

If you haven’t tried these baked, crispy peapods, you are missing out! I am in love with these so much so that I’ve been known to eat a whole bag in one sitting without realizing it until I grabbed the last one. So sad. I wouldn’t recommend doing this! They’re delicious straight out of the bag or on top of salads for some extra crunch. The great news is they are organic, non-GMO, gluten free and have 5g of protein and 4g of fiber per serving.

Nut butter has become a daily staple of mine for the generous amount of protein it contains per serving. It also tastes like a dessert to me so I thoroughly enjoy it. I usually have apples and almond butter in between lunch and dinner for an energy boost. MaraNatha Almond Butter is my favorite brand. I’ve tried a lot of almond butters and I always go back to this one for it’s creamy texture and no added sugar. They also make this Coconut Almond Butter if you love coconut!

If you’re like me and love crunchy snacks, you will love these Biena Chickpea Snacks. They are a healthier and, in my opinion, tastier alternative to croutons. They are crispy, lightly salted with sea salt and you can pretty much put them on everything. With 6 grams of protein per serving, they will fill you right up!

I think I’ve tried just about every flavor Larabar makes and I LOVE each one. Each one is moist, perfectly sweet, and filling. I started eating Larabars after I gave birth to my daughter and needed a quick snack to keep up with the demands of breastfeeding. If you’re a mom, you know that nursing makes you hungry and thirsty! These bars are made of wholesome, simple ingredients with no artificial additives or junk. For instance, the Coconut Cream Pie flavor (my favorite) only has 5 ingredients: dates, unsweetened coconut, almonds, cashews, and extra virgin coconut oil. If you’re not sure which flavor to try first, I recommend getting the 16-Flavor Variety so you can try them all!
